Description This outcome document from the World Conference on Indigenous Peoples, is an affirmation by the General Assembly of the United Nations of various resolutions pertaining to UNDRIP. In these Resolutions, the General Assembly reaffirms their declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and sets goals relating to the equity and empowerment of Indigenous peoples globally. They encourage nations to ratify the International Labour Organization (ILO) Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Convention (No. 169) that includes rights to FPIC.
