Description This United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) report in Mohawk language is an international tool accepted by the United Nations in 2007, to protect the rights of indigenous peoples around the world in regard to their survival, dignity, and well-being (according to Article 43). UNDRIP also protects both collective and individual rights of Indigenous people. This document came out of around 25 years of deliberation by U.N. member states and Indigenous groups.
